Greek Yogurt 5 Ingredient Bagels

YIELDS: 4 servings TIME: 35 minutes
INGREDIENTS
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1.5 cups of plain greek yogurt
2 tsp salt
1 egg for egg wash
Optional toppings: Everything Bagel Seasoning, Seasme seeds, jalapeno slices, cheddar cheese, cinnamon and brown sugar mixture, etc. The choices are endless!
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, greek yogurt, and salt.
Once a sticky ball forms, move to a lightly floured flat surface and continue kneading until it is no longer sticky and forms a dough ball.
With a knife, separate into 4 smaller dough balls.
Roll each small dough ball into a log-shape and then form into a circle.
Place each bagel 2 inches apart on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Whisk the egg and brush each bagel until fully coated.
Sprinkle each bagel with desired toppings.
Bake for 25-28 minutes until browned. Let cool before slicing.
*A perfect topping for your fresh bagel is herbed cream cheese. Simply take fresh chopped chives, dill, and parsley and whip into cream cheese with a dash of salt until fully incorporated!
